Biography

Born in 1977 in Zagreb. In 2002 she received her BA in Philosophy and Education Science from the University of Zagreb (Center for Croatian Studies and Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), and got a position at the Center for Croatian Studies as a research assistant. In 2010 she obtained her PhD (The role of emotions in morality), and was promoted into a senior assistant. Her research in philosophy is mainly focused on philosophy of emotions and ethics. She teaches the introductory courses to philosophy, early modern philosophy and education courses. She is currently engaged in the project “Intercultural origin of pedagogical thought and educational activities of Croats”. She has participated in several philosophical conferences (in Croatia and abroad) and has published papers in journals Journal of Educational and Instructional Studies in the World, Prolegomena and Filozofska istraživanja. She is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Philosophy

Hrvatski studiji Sveučilišta u Zagrebu pokrenuti su i ustrojeni 16. studenoga 1992., isprva samo kao dvosemestralni Sveučilišni komparativni studij hrvatske filozofije i društva. Taj je program potom preoblikovan u program redovitog četverogodišnjeg studija.
