Description:
The main goal is to acquaint students with the fundamental processes that characterized the relations between society and religion in the higher and late Middle Ages. Also, the aim is to familiarize students with the most important primary sources and recent literature relevant to this matter. Apart from mastering basic facts and historical processes, students will be encouraged to analyse comparatively the popular relgious movements and to approach the topic interdisciplinary. The goal is to train students to work with sources, diplomatical and narrative ones, related to the topic of the relations between religion and society in late medieval period.

Hrvatski studiji Sveučilišta u Zagrebu pokrenuti su i ustrojeni 16. studenoga 1992., isprva samo kao dvosemestralni Sveučilišni komparativni studij hrvatske filozofije i društva. Taj je program potom preoblikovan u program redovitog četverogodišnjeg studija.
